Project Description
KFC Lakelands is a brand new store opened in early 2018. It is one of several commercial developments in the Lakelands complex completed by Hybrid Linings including a Caltex fuel station, Silver Sponge Car Wash and Lakelands Swim School. Our scope of works included suspended ceilings, internal stud walls, external cladding and installation of the pre-fabricated Smart Steel frame.
Other KFC new builds and refurbishments completed by Hybrid Linings include Armadale, Baldivis, Beldon, Butler, Byford, Cockburn Central, Dog Swamp, Harrisdale, Joondalup, Karawara, Kalgoorlie, Kelmscott, Kingsway, Kwinana, Marangaroo, Melville, Morley, South Perth and Subiaco.
Ceilings
- Supply and install 13mm water resistant plasterboard on concealed suspension system
- Supply and install 13mm water resistant plasterboard bulkheads
- Supply and install 6mm Versilux with 10mm express joints suspended
- Supply and install 600 x 600 ACS ICE perforated metal ceiling tiles on exposed grid with L bar wall angle
- Supply and install R2.0 Glasswool ceiling insulation to all internal ceilings
Walls
- Supply and install 9mm Villaboard fixed on one side to 92mm Stud
- Supply and install 9mm Villaboard fixed on both sides to 92mm Stud
- Supply and install R2.0 90mm Glasswool insulation to internal stud walls
- Supply and install R2.0 90mm Glasswool insulation & Air-Cell Insulbreak 65 to external stud walls
External Cladding
- Supply and install 9mm Exotec with 10mm express joints on 35mm top hat direct to stud
- Supply and install 9mm Duragroove on 35mm top direct to stud
Steel Frame
- Install Smart Steel 90mm prefab wall and roof trusses system including crane lift
- Unload wall and roof trusses from Smart Steel, complete all works to meet Endure Frame specification and install all brackets, speed bracing and tie downs to accommodate system
Miscellaneous
- Install all door frames
- Supply and install 12mm plywood noggins for wet areas and menu board
- Install toe mould flashing to perimeter of building
